This town which counts 140 inhabitants all year long and which was dedicated to agriculture and craft industry takes part in the project of a Regional Natural Parc in the Pyrenees Ariégeoises in order to protect and emphasize inhabited big rural areas which balance is still weak.
With the support of the Forestry Commissionthe discovery parth is today accessible in 4 hours for the short version or in 6 hours for the longer one, 10 minutes away from the village with a car park. The access to the peak of la Calabasse will take 1h30 more.
Go and meet the tetras, lagopus, lammergeyers, eagles, falcons, vultures... which will be your comrade in travel.
Do you feel like skying? The ski resort of Guzet Neige 45 minutes away from the village will give you the opportunity to hurtle down the ski tracks.
